Check out these Social Network Pillows I sewed. I can make physical things too! (FYI, you can’t click on them). In order of obsession: tumblr, twitter, facebook.
Materials: one generic snuggie, 2 IKEA fIeece blankets and 3 IKEA 12” pillow fillers.

This year for Halloween, Zara and I decided to do Ghostbusters II, which gave me the perfect excuse to finally build a proton pack and googles. Built over about four days on and off out of mostly dollar store items and foam core, I think I finally out did myself in Halloween costume construction. The internet pulled through with countless plans and tips, but I’m pretty proud of figuring out how to make the “cyclotron”(red lights) “power cell” (blue light), and neutona wand (gun) all glow/flash. The internet also taught me that many things have names.
Walking around in the hordes last night was also a blast. I have never been yelled at more in my life. Some of the best moments:
- The large group of drunken people who started singing the theme song “da da da-da DA da”
- The man on the train who said “Man, that Proton Pack is gonna get you laid tonight!” who then began to petition to become my wingman next year if I built him one.
- The group of guys who came up to me saying, “that’s incredible. That’s the kinda shit you bring to Comic-Con not halloween!”
And people doubt the popularity for a third movie…
