Stephen moffat, you brilliant brilliant bastard.
I’m in total awe of this season of Doctor Who. Steven Spielberg was right, writing this show is the job the man was born to have. I’ll say it again, there has and never will be a television show this good.

Did you know that in Doctor Who, the Doctor’s bow tie is red if the episode takes place in the future, and blue if it is in the past?
It’s true for the tenth Doctor too. His suit was blue if they went forward in time and the brown if they went back in time.

The thing I realized this morning is that commuting into work in NYC dressed as the 11th Doctor, I could just as easily be just any massive hipster going to work in a bow tie, tweed jacket, rolled jeans. Full/better pics coming soon.

Excuse me while I nerd out for a moment, but Doctor Who and Star Trek are going to officially cross over (albeit in comic form). There were plans to merge the two series into the same fictional universe back when Doctor Who relaunch and Enterprise was still on the air. The idea was to just plop the whole Star Trek timeline right into the muddy future of Doctor Who. This would have also put Star Trek indirectly in the same universe as Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, as its Douglas Adams was head writer on Who for years and considered them in the same universe (easter eggs are sprinkled through Who). Although we may never see it on screen, doing it in comic form is better than nothing and now Matt Smith gets to match wits with Patrick Stewart in some way.
